Our Team
I have been working in the Customs Brokerage Business for 17 years. I have always dedicated myself to providing the highest level of customer service to the companies that have chosen to work with me. The Customs Brokerage and Logistics world is ever changing. I started CB Customs Brokerage in June of 2015 and have assembled a team here at CB that believes in my philosophy regarding how our clients should be serviced. We as a company set a goal of proving ourselves every day. We consider ourselves an essential part of each client’s cross border business. We believe that educating our clients on compliance with Customs regulations and handling their Customs transactions in a timely manner all at a fair price is the key to our growth and success.
As many of my clients know I also own and operate Freight Boy & FB Logistics. These companies provide the services of freight brokerage, freight movement with our own trucks servicing the Greater Toronto and Western New York areas, plus US and Canadian warehousing. We have the ability through all of these companies to service our client’s logistical needs.

Carol Bechtel
Carol Bechtel is the Operations Manager of CB Customs Brokerage Services, LLC.
Carol is a Licensed Customhouse Broker with over 30 years of experience in the Customs industry, obtaining her Customs Brokers License in 1991. Her vast knowledge of the Customs field and many years of experience were especially instrumental in the start-up of CB Customs in 2015. Carol was the sole operations employee, gracefully handling all of the Customs matters both day and night, which we all know is no small task! After some much needed rest, Carol has led our team to a great early success. Her dedication to CB Customs and to our valued customers is second to none and has been a tremendous benefit to our fast-paced, rapidly growing company.

Wendy Burns
Wendy Burns is the Compliance Manager of CB Customs Brokerage Services, LLC.
Wendy started in the Customs Brokerage business as a receptionist in 1992. She has since worked diligently through the years in a variety of Customs related positions which makes her an important asset to our company. Wendy obtained her Customs Brokers License in 1997 and has since gained extensive knowledge of US Customs laws and regulations, learning all aspects of the Customs business and focusing on the needs and requirements of her clients. Wendy’s expertise in the Customs industry and dedication to customer service has contributed to the continuing success of CB Customs Brokerage.

Lori Daggett
Lori Daggett is the CB Customs Brokerage Services LLC Accounting Administrator.
We were very pleased when Lori Daggett joined our group in 2015 as she came to us with over 30 years of accounting experience. Lori, earning her degree in Business is a former Officer Manager for a local hotel chain, entered the Customs Brokerage field in 2006. In those years, Lori further advanced her skills in accounting and also played a vital part in the many administrative functions of the day-to-day Customs operations. She brings that knowledge and experience to us, along with her attention to detail, helping us become a dependable and successful company.

Our Release Staff
We currently have 5 hardworking, highly trained Customs release clerks. Between them they have over 60 years of hands-on operational experience. A few of them were even around when processing truck shipments was a manual process at the bridge and we had to staple a Prin Card on top of the driver’s paperwork and type out the CF7501 on a typewriter. Today, thankfully, they are processing every entry electronically (sometimes wishing for the good old days)!
Our release crew pride themselves in providing the very best in customer service, efficient and accurate entry processing and always keeping our clients’ needs as their top priority.
